Sean Astin and Mews the cat have a small therapy session in a new Stranger Things exclusive clip from Netflix.

As fans of the popular Netflix sci-fi series already know, Astin’s character Bob Newby and Mews met some very gruesome ends at the hands of creatures from the Upside-Down. Those scenes were hard to watch, and fans might still be having a hard time coping with those losses. Enter the new video, which features Astin and Mews rewatching their death scenes while providing each other comfort.

The video is both funny and touching. Who doesn’t want to see a cat pat Astin’s hand in loving support? For all of its humor, though, the video is a fitting bookend to the second season of Stranger Things and might repair some sore fandom feelings in the process. As the video slyly reminds us, it’s all just TV and Astin and Mews are perfectly fine in real life.
