It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 25 years since Kirby came into our lives! This adorable character came out in 1992, and to celebrate this special occasion, a special anniversary shop was opened in Ikebukuro Parco from Dec. 8~18!
There was a huge lineup of special products featured, and now you can get a look at them yourself~ Among these were the Kirby 25th Anniversary Pupupu Leather Key Covers based on Kirby and Meta Knight!
Designed as a TOM Project item, the leather pieces are carefully dyed, cut, and sewn to recreate the iconic characters. Incidentally, you can learn more about the project (including those 4 little leather charms based on different Kirby items) here!
That’s not all, though. The room was packed with figures, pouches, towels, plush toys, clear files and file holders, postcards, T-shirts, keychains, and more!
There were even plenty of capsule toy dispensers… But what’s inside…?
With a lineup like this, you could work Kirby’s cuteness into every aspect of your life!
In addition to all of the great merchandise, Kirby’s home also made an appearance, and it’s just as cute as you’d expect.
But could it be…? Is he inside?
Too cute! Who wouldn’t want to take a nap next to Kirby?
After an incredible 25 years, everyone’s love for Kirby is stronger than ever. If you missed this initial run, there are more locations coming up!
